Betty worked in retail for over 25 years, serving the customers of Sears and Roebuck, Service Merchandise, and Osco. While working, she grew to love anything that was Betty Boop themed. She was one of the very first members of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church, where she helped in the nursery with the babies. She loved reading her bible and singing at church. Betty really cherished the time she had with her family, especially her phone calls with her grandson, Kyle. She enjoyed Sunday dinners which were always a joyous occasion for the family to get together. She was an amazing and wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.
Betty’s family wants to extend a very special and heartwarming thanks to Barbara Prowl. “Thank you so much for your faithful weekly visits. It has meant so much to us.”
