Bennett Alan Black, from Evansville, IN, was born on October 21, 2021 to the parents of Cody and Danielle Black at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He weighed 7lbs 2oz and was 19.5in long. Bennett gained his angel wings on October 25, 2021 peacefully in his mommy and daddy’s arms. During his five short days on Earth he touched many lives and was loved ever so deeply by many people. Bennett experienced holding hands with his mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from his family, listening to songs being sung to him, and being told “I love you” an immeasurable amount of times.
Bennett is survived by his loving parents, Cody and Danielle Black; his big brother, Beckham Black; his grandparents, Tonya Hurshman and Carey Buchta, Greg and Lori Black; aunts and uncles, Madeline (Autumn) Downing, Carson Buchta, Carlee Buchta, Dillan (Natalie) Black; his great-grandparents, Alan and Nellie Ours, Norma Black, Pauletta Moen; and many other extended family members.
Bennett was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Lloyd Black, Edward Moen.
Private services will be held at a later date.
