Dear Ron and Karen,
So sorry for your loss. Your mom and I were only 9 years apart. I had so many childhood memories that go way back. We had wonderful times together as the years went by. I will always remember her love and kindness through the years. Richard and I cherished the time we spent with them. We send our love to you. Richard and Patsy
Dear Ron & Karen,
With heavy hearts we are saddened with the passing of our sweet Aunt Awanda who we had with us for 91 years. We will always treasure the wonderful family memories which made us feel special and loved. Yes, her beautiful light has blinked out, but at night when we look up at the stars, we will see her shining from the heavens with Uncle Vernon. Thanks again for sending us the copy of Aunt Awanda & Uncle Vernon’s wedding picture which we treasure. Sending you both a special hug with love, Jim and Dianne
Awanda Annette Williams, 91, passed away on August 17, 2019. She was born on March 29, 1928 to James Monroe and Millicie King in Madisonville, Kentucky.

Awanda worked at Nussmeier Engraving and Morris Plan Thrift and Saving in the 40s and 50s. In the 60s she worked as an administrator for Oral Surgeons Whitehead, Pfafflin, and Henry for over 6 years. Awanda was an avid Aces basketball fan. She had season tickets for almost 50 years and enjoyed going to the games. She was also a Miami Dolphins fan. Awanda was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for, caring, and loving her family. She loved gardening, especially roses. They were her favorite. For several decades Awanda attended Melody Hills Free Methodist Church which is currently known as The Well at Melody Hill. She was very devoted to the church.
