Austin James Gill, 23 of Evansville, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2023.

The family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Austin was born on December 16, 1999, in Evansville to Kelli Whitlow-Gill.

He attended Castle High School and enjoyed the thrill of learning new skills. Austin also served in the Indiana Army National Guard.

Austin had recently developed an interest in culinary arts and liked experimenting in the kitchen to create interesting meals. He often wrote poetry and was teaching himself to play guitar. Austin had begun writing music and lyrics.

He liked to travel and see new places. Austin found peace in nature, he loved animals of all kinds.

Austin is survived by his mother, Kelli Gill; of Newburgh, brother, Reid Whitlow; of Evansville, grandmother, Jan Wolf Lawler;(Ray) of FL, aunt, Melissa Wolf; (Chris) of AK; good friend Zach Persohn; extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ralph O Meredith.

Services are being held for Austin on February 25, 2023 at Lake Sunset at the Gazebo.  Visitation from 12pm to 1pm with service at 1pm all at the Gazebo at Lake Sunset.
