William (Butch) Gattis Bryant, Jr., age 76 of Evansville, Indiana passed away on July 31, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Butch was born to William Gattis Bryant, Sr. and Ethel (Moseley) Bryant on October 2, 1944 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Mr. Bryant worked for Midwest Federal Bank as President for 30 years and then worked for Casino Aztar until retirement. He was a member of American legion Post 265 in Evansville handling the finances and other duties for the club to keep it running and operational. He was a lifetime member of the Riverbend. He loved playing pool and watching St. Louis Cardinals live and on TV. He was an active card player at the different clubs.

He is preceded in death by his parents William Gattis Bryant, Sr. and Ethel (Moseley) Bryant. He is survived by one son Steven Bryant (Shanna Chambers) of Evansville, a sister Martha (Aubrey) Gibson of Henderson, Kentucky; grandchildren Mackenzie Bryant and Jordyn Bryant of Evansville; and 2 great-grandchildren Kenzleigh and Rialeigh.

There will be a small ceremony at graveside for family and friends on August 6, 2021 beginning at 10 am at Sunset Memorial Park on St. George Road in Evansville.
