John Edward Gibson, Jr. “Johnny”, 44, of Longview, Washington, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at OHSU hospital in Portland, OR. Johnny was a diesel mechanic manager. He loved the west coast, and he relocated there with his loving wife, Annie. Johnny enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR, traveling, playing video games with his kids, and visiting family in Mexico. Johnny had a longtime love of auto mechanics. Johnny was very proud of his children. John is survived by his wife, Annie (Phillips) Gibson; his mother, Asunción Gibson; his children, Alisha, Johnathan (Laura), Ricardo…

John Edward Gibson, Jr. “Johnny”, 44, of Longview, Washington, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at OHSU hospital in Portland, OR. 
Johnny was a diesel mechanic manager. He loved the west coast, and he relocated there with his loving wife, Annie. Johnny enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR, traveling, playing video games with his kids, and visiting family in Mexico. Johnny had a longtime love of auto mechanics. Johnny was very proud of his children. John is survived by his wife, Annie (Phillips) Gibson; his mother, Asunción Gibson; his children, Alisha, Johnathan (Laura), Ricardo (Jennifer), Gabriel, and Leila Gibson; siblings, Jacqueline Heath (Andrew), Jocelyn Gibson-Brown (John lll), Christopher Gibson (Rachael), Skyler Gibson; grandchildren, James, Payton, Emma, Christopher, and several nieces and nephews. 
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Basil T. and Leila Gibson, Jose Guadalupe; father, John Gibson SrUncle James “Jim” Gibson and brother Joseph B. Gibson. 
Visitation for John will be Saturday, February 24th at Sunset Funeral Home from 3 p.m to 7 p.m
With services being Sunday, February 25th at  1 pm in the funeral home chapel.
